There’s certainly no shortage of fun things to do this weekend. As always, these are my picks! Don’t forget to tune in to my weekly segment every Friday around 5:40 p.m. on B104.
Friday, July 30
It’s the perfect night to sit out under the stars and enjoy the movie theatre outdoors. Grab your lawn chairs, a blanket, and even some snacks and watch “Where the Wild Things Are” at Community Arts Park at 5th and Court Streets in Allentown. The show begins at dusk, but I suggest arriving early to score a good seat. For more, visit allentownpa.gov.
Saturday, July 31-Sunday, August 1
Immerse yourself in the rich Lebanese culture and all of its delicious foods and authentic dancing at this year’s Lebanese Heritage Day on Saturday from 5-11 p.m. and on Sunday from noon-11 p.m. Enjoy two fun-filled days at this annual event that takes place at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church in Easton. Visit mountlebanon.org.
Sunday, August 1
For the Philadelphia Eagles fans, training camp is back! Practice begins at 8:15 a.m. and again at 2:45 p.m. at the Lehigh fields at Stabler Arena. There will also be an autograph session. Don’t forget to pick up your official football merch! For a schedule and more, visit philadelphiaeagles.com.
