» dialogue

While making my social network media rounds the other day, I found a particularly interesting piece of dialogue from one of my favorite movies of all time, Caddyshack.

It’s from the scene where Chevy Chase’s character is hitting on Judge Smail’s promiscuous niece, Lacey Underall.

“What brings you to this nape of the woods, neck of the wape—how come you’re here?”

I just loved that line. It got me thinking about the other standout pieces of dialogue that have entertained me, and actually stuck in my head over the years. Here are a few more and some hints to which movies they are from. Do you know?

 1. This stupid, wagon wheel, Roy Rogers garage sale coffee table!

2. Sometimes I dance around the living room in my underwear. Doesn’t make me Madonna—never will.
