Last Wednesday night I attended Martinis and Manicures at the Allentown Brew Works with my cousins Katie and Alex and a few of my aunts and their friends. So much fun! And might I add, it was packed! Completely sold out. 

First of all, for only $10 — TEN dollars! — you get a full-size martini of your choice and either a mini-mani or mini-massage. Is that not a great deal or what? There were jewelry vendors and a Mary Kay table, which I admit I had no interest in. Even a bride-to-be celebrated her bridal shower. Pretty clever and inexpensive. Local photographer Michael McNett was on the scene snapping group photos of the girls enjoying their Ladies Night Out. 

I opted for the Not-So-Pomegranate martini, which was tart but delish, and a mini-massage that lasted a good 10-15 minutes. You can order dinner from the full menu — I went for the beer and cheese soup — or come early for the food specials. Stay late and sip on $4 martinis for the rest of the night. 

I honestly didn’t know what to expect, especially because I don’t typically get my nails done or schedule massages, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was having a great time. If you’re looking for something fun to do with your girlfriends that won’t leave a huge dent in your wallet, reserve your spot every second Wednesday of the month. Book early because it fills up fast. Maybe I’ll see you there next month! And next time I’m definitely bringing my camera.
