fall

OK, so my life (personal and in LVStyle land) has been so busy lately! I don’t even know where to begin, but I guess I’ll just give you a quick rundown.

First of all, “so long sweet summer…” Yes, that was a Dashboard Confessional reference. Anyway, I surely can’t be the only one who thinks summer just ended with the blink of an eye. I was hoping for a warmer September. No such luck as fall has certainly invaded the atmosphere. I think I even noticed the coloring of some trees along the horizon beginning to change as I was getting off at route 33 north on my daily morning commute. I’m not quite ready for this!

I’ve also been planning and collaborating on this year’s biggest fashion shoot with local photog Lori Smith. I can’t wait until you see it! We’ve pulled the greatest holiday fashion looks and accessories from some of your favorite retailers. This Monday, four models and a handful of creative people will come together to make this–what will be stunning–feature happen. It will have a very vintage-y feel to it, but that’s all I’m letting on to.

In other news, I recently put on my “model” personality and worked with the lovelies at Loose Threads, Helene and Laura, for a fantastic afternoon of fun and photos. Photog and friend, Marty Desilets (who currently has a show at Monsoon Gallery in Bethlehem), captured beautiful shots of the fashion and accessories available at Loose Threads modeled by yours truly. I wish I could give you a sneak peek, but you’ll soon have a chance to check them out once their new Web site launches. I am gushing over the photos, and not because they’re of me, but simply because I can’t even believe it’s me. Plus, Eskandalo provided hair and makeup, which was phenomenal! I can’t tell you how much I enjoy working with a team of like-minded individuals.

What else? Oh, last time I blogged about weddings. Well, I just attended Joshua and Lindsay’s yesterday afternoon at Sayre Mansion in Bethlehem. You know, the black-tie optional. What a neat place. For all of the times I have driven by, that was the first time I had been inside. Definitely an elegant wedding. Congrats, Joshua and Lindsay!

Well, I could go on and on, but then what would I blog about next week?
